DIY Inspiration: Long Lace Bow Cuffs from Mary Magdalene here. They are sold out of all the cuffs except for the off white. These are made of stretch lace for the top part and then regular lace for the bottom. You could make these so cheaply because so little lace is needed.

The breastplate is made from a cheap half form mannequin and round sticker labels - seriously!I googled “half form mannequin” and found one for $4.90 here - so they are easy to find. The rest of the paints, puffy paint and Rub’n’Buff can be found at any craft store.

I know this has already been posted on Tumblr here, but I think a real discussion has to continue about the use of the term “slave bracelet”. I’ve mentioned it before when panjas/handpieces have been called “slave bracelets” and cuffs have been called “slave cuffs” and how distasteful and inappropriate I think it is. What do I do? I leave a message at the site asking if there is a better name for that piece of jewelry or I message the person on Facebook in private. Tip: spray painting plastic does not often turn out well when bent.

halloweencrafts: This bracelet is made from a plastic dish mat. I can see all sorts of body armor type applications with this light weight flexible and cheap material. The question is how to get a paint to stick to the plastic and not chip off.
